Greetings! My name is Rachel Sutcliffe and I have worked with the Kassouf family since 2005, one year prior to Cibo’s opening in 2006. Over the years I have experienced the utmost pleasure and continue to relish in providing neighborly service and a trendy atmosphere to the Cedar Rapids-Marion Metro area, along with assisting Cibo and the Kassouf family in giving back to our local communities. Hello, I am Nathan Derrick, the Chef here at Cibo Fusion. I have been cooking professionally for nearly twenty years in various locations. I attended The Scottsdale Culinary Institute where I received my degree in culinary arts as well as certifications in the areas of nutrition, restaurant management and food safety. At the Culinary Institute I studied classic French cuisine, baking, as well as a variety of international techniques.
I learned more progressive types of cuisine while working at a luxury resort under one of the nation's leading chefs. I have had recipes featured in national as well as local food publications. I would like to personally invite you to enjoy a fantastic dining experience with friends and family in the unique atmosphere Cibo has to offer.
